If logo imprint is desired, electronic file must be provided. We require that art be created in a black and white (no color) Adobe Illustrator® or CorelDraw files. (AI, EPS).  We must have a "high resolution" file to make the very best clear screens for your printed items. "EPS" files are the preferred file type. E-mail artwork to artwork@abetteridea.com. Contact name, phone number, order number and company name must be included in the e-mail message.   Files must be under 2 MEGS or please compress before emailing. Business cards, letterheads, faxes and laser prints are NOT acceptable. PDF, DOC, PUB, TIF, BMP, JPG and GIF file formats are NOT acceptable. 		What is camera-ready artwork?
Additional Artwork Details    Email us a file or  Send us a disk or  Send us a black & white "slick"		Artwork may be mailed to us on a disk (floppy disk, CD or Zip) or as a black & white camera-ready slick, or sent as a digital file by email.        DIGITAL:   We require that art be created in Adobe Illustrator® with all text converted to outlines. We can also accept artwork created in CorelDraw, PhotoShop, Freehand, and Quark. If CorelDraw or Quark is used, please export as Adobe Illustrator PC or Macintosh format and convert all type to curves. The electronic file may be attached to an e-mail and sent to artwork@abetteridea.com. Contact name, phone number, order number and your company name must be included in the e-mail message. Please also fax a copy of the image to 401-847-8076. *Files over 2 megs MUST be compressed before emailing. Business cards, letterheads, faxes and laser prints are NOT acceptable. PDF, DOC, PUB, TIF, BMP, JPG and GIF file formats are NOT acceptable. Please do not send files created in Microsoft Word, Publisher or PowerPoint, unless they are for viewing purposes only.  We can, however redraw these file types and convert them for a fee of $95.00. Adobe Illustrator EPS files are the preferred format we accept and the least likely to require additional clarifications. You may incur additional art charges if the artwork does not meet our standards. 1/2 hour is included in the initial art charge. Anything over 1/2 hour is charged as follows: $50.00 1 hour; $25.00 1/2 hour. You will be notified of any additional charges before work begins. If you do not have the above graphic programs please contact your nearest graphics agency to save your logo as a digital file.   ARTWORK without logos (just copy) may be faxed!! We have a full service Art department which can clean-up, re-draw, or re-create your logo for additional charges ( requires additional 1-3 days).

 Computer Disk Requirements:

Disk artwork must be submitted in accepted formats only. All files must be in EPS format. Please convert all fonts to outline. All colors must be converted to sport colors with correct Pantone numbers. Please include a hard copy of the artwork with the disk.

 *We ACCEPT the following formats:

• Adobe Illustrator (Mac or PC), any version: Create outlines for all images and fonts and save in EPS format.    Preferred format.
• Corel Draw (Mac or PC): Create curves for all images and fonts. Save in Adobe Illustrator format.
• Adobe Photoshop (Mac only): This application can only be used when rendering art for grayscale, halftone or process work. Please contact Customer Service for instructions before submitting art in Photoshop.*
• Quark
• *The digital art requirements are subject to program availability at time of order.

 We CANNOT accept the following formats:   (we can re-do them)

• PowerPoint files.   Microsoft Word.    Kodak photos  etc   (these are not art files)
• Any word processing files such as Publisher, Word or Works.
• PDF, DOC, PUB, TIF, BMP, JPG and GIF file formats

 Simple Art  - Copy Without A Logo:

• FAX IN: If you only want copy ( words), you may fax or email us the copy.  Please indicate what fonts you prefer and the layout (ex: bold, center, smaller etc) and send to the attention of your salesperson by fax( 401-847-8076) or email (artwork@abetteridea.com). 

 To Send Art:

• Mail In: Save artwork in accepted format. Send disk and hard copy of art with name, item ordered, event date and payment of order.
• E-Mail: Save artwork in accepted format. Compress all files over 2 megs (WinZip or Stuffit). All colors must be spot color. Company name/contact, phone number and your salesperson's name must be clearly identified on e-mail. Fax  a "hard copy" to your salesperson @ 401-847-8076.  Please include any diagrams or info to clarify.

 PMS Color Match/ Charges:

For items that are pad printed or silk screened,  pricing generally includes a 1-color logo in standard colors. For a PMS color match, add $35.00 per color. PMS matches on colored surfaces may appear different than in PMS books and cannot be guaranteed.
